I was doing my homework and chatting at the same time. I multitask quite well. In the middle of the conversation with my friend, he said that he wished he could be the indo guy who sips wine. I told him, what are you talking about? He gave me this link to this LA times article.

My friend, Erwin, googled his name just for fun. Then he found this one blog that only has one topic which is about professionalism and that author is commenting on erwin's work relating to his photography business. Let me give you the link to erwin's blog, there's a link to that shitty RIOP blog. Erwin's blog. Read the comments on RIOP blog from Erwin's supporters hehe... I was thinking of ordering some t-shirts that says "TEAM EW" hahaa.... Erwin found out who that guy is, he's indonesian.... of course... that doesnt surprise me for some reason. What can narrow minded indonesians do? They can only bash other people's work to make themselves feel better. That guy used to live in Seattle, he lives in Vancouver now. He's a friend of my friends actually... He has a history of bashing other people's work including my other friend who is the founder of kaskus.com. Geez man, get a life. He even commented that Erwin's pic is not great. Hellooooo.... his pictures are ugly as shit. Damn, he makes me angry.

Robin Thicke

"First" heard his song on vh1, he's the featured artist for this month. I like it, R&B, soulful... So I read his bio. He's Alan Thicke's son, Alan thicke was in growing pains, he's the dad. I can see the similarities of the looks. I was more surprised when I found out he had an album before the current one and he used his last name as his artist name. I remembered Thicke!!! I went to amazon.com to check the song listing on his album and yesss it's the same Thicke that I loveeee.... I loveeeeeee his song, "when i get you alone". I thought Thicke was a band hahaha...

Unwell

My body is so weak, I can feel it. It started a week ago when I had a lot of ulcers/sariawan in my mouth. When it was getting better, a cold hit me. I'm coughing a lot and it hurts :( The last time I got a cold was in november which was 2 months ago. I've never ever been sick this often. Gotta love my body more, considering that I have one weak kidney. Gotta eat regularly, take vitamins, exercise, and drink water!

There's a new asian market opening in the oaktree area. It's called HT market. I went there last friday and it's not too bad. They have peavine! Pretty expensive, 99c for a small bag, but i dont care, I love peavine. I can eat it everyday. The market is not as complete as uwajimaya, they dont have shabu2 sauce. About the price, maybe they are cheaper than uwajimaya but probably around the same range. Uuhh I'm so hungry right now... Waiting for baby gap to pick me up... I've been craving for fort st. george for a while. Last time I went there was in the summer when adam was here. Wow, it was six months ago... I used to go there once a week with Hendy... No wonder I'm dying to go there.

MCR

I heard black parade by my chemical romance on the radio. I love the song, the beginning is pretty slow then it becomes upbeat. So I got their album and wow... it's amazing. My other favorite song is famous last words and I am so excited that it's their new single which means I'll be hearing that song a lot in the radio. Unfortunately I work in a place where they tune on 106.9 fm. They have good songs but i've been hearing the same songs over and over again. They dont really play the top 40 songs. Probably I can sing to some of the country songs that they play. Sometimes I just wanna scream if they play the song that I dont like and I've been hearing that song almost everyday, let's see, for the past 5 months. Thinking about it makes my head hurt, or maybe it's a signal for me to go to bed since it's currently 1:30 am and I am supposed to be in bed and snore like a pig. Hmm do pig snore? Or snoring sounds like how pig sounds? Anyway... hahahha... I think I really need to pay a visit to my lovely bed. Gosh I just realized, I just wasted 3 nights, I havent started my homework and I have a takehome exam. Huaaa this weekend is going to be super crazeeee

One other thing, I heard this song on the radio and didnt know who the singer is. So I forgot about it but then a week later, I heard it on the xm radio. I was so excited because now I know who the singer is since xm listed it. When I got home, I tried looking for the song and the singer but no luck so I forgot about it again. 1.5 months later, which is today, when I was hearing xm radio again in my car, I suddenly remember about this song and the singer but I couldnt recall the name of the singer. So I thought, oh well, hopefully I'll remember it someday because I really like the song. Guess what, I was browsing the tonight show website because I wanted to know who was performing on that show. On nbc schedule, they also show the guests for carson daly show and conan o brien. The singer that I've been looking for is performing on those 2 shows!!!! His name is Landon Pigg, I recognized it right away because his name is so unique ahhaa... So happy!!! Btw the name of the band that performed on Jay leno's was The bird and the bees.

Olympic Sculpture Park

I have found another reason to stay in Seattle... It's the olympic sculpture park hahaha... It is so beautiful. The park is not completely done yet but it is so gorgeous. I will post some pictures on my photo blog, meanwhile, check my friend's blog (click me) for the pictures. I went there on Saturday, the first day they opened for public. It was crowded and parking was a pain. We had to park in belltown area and walked for about 10 minutes to the park, while carrying our photography equipment. It was worth it though. I just love parks... I used to go to a park every single day (when I was unemployed and not taking classes). I am committed to manage my time better so I can go to olympic sculpture park every other week or even once a week. You guys should go to the park and experience it yourself. I only have 9 months left in Seattle, at most... I am going to make the most out of it. My goodness, I sounded like a dying people ahha... Huaaa I love Seattle too much... why wasnt the park built sooner ckckck...

Anyway, I'm supposed to be studying right now. I'm taking 3 accounting classes and getting sick of this subject hahahaha. Remind me again why I'm back in school? Oh yeah, because I dont want to leave this damn city!

Really?

There's a new indo kid working in the bookstore and we were kinda chit chatting with the others also. I told this new kid that I'm kinda old, well older than the other students who are working there in the bookstore. Jason asked him to guess my age. Guess what he said..... 30!!! My goodness... Really??? Do I look that old??? Perhaps he doesnt really know how to estimate age but still do I really look that old... Huaaaa... I always avoided that age question when talking to new people since I dont want to offend them or hurt their feeling heuhe....

Geez... Time flies... I'll be 24 this year... When I was in high school, I wanted to get married when I'm 24 or 25. I am so not ready to get married at this age. Well, you know as a high school student I wasnt really thinking it through. Talking about marriage, I gotta find My McDreamy first.

Should watch more news (part 2)

Continuing my post about watching more news. I need to watch more entertainment news alsoooo... About a week or so ago, I read news on yahoo.com about nicole richie having a DUI problem. Then they mention that she's dating Joel from Good Charlotte. Whoa, I was surprised. I thought he's dating Hillary Duff and never thought that they would break up! Hayden Panettiere is dating Steven from Laguna Beach. Josh holloway has an indo wife. I used to be so informative in these thing. Maybe I have a life now so I dont have time to read this stuff :P

My mom was reading Us weekly at QFC last night and I came across Josh Holloway's picture with his wife. I saw her name, it's Yessica Kumala. That's an indo name!!! I googled it this morning and yup she's an indonesian. I hope the source is reliable but still, that name is truly an indo name. Damn, he is such a hunk... She's cute too but huaaa I can't believe it. One of the hottest and sexiest guys on TV is married to an indonesian.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody!!! Christmas is my favorite holiday especially if I'm celebrating it, well pretty much anywhere but Indo hahah... Luckily my parents are in town so I dont feel lonely. The worst thing about being single is feeling lonely during holidays. Seeing couple walking, holding hands, snuggling, under the decorated street lights while listening to christmas songs playing on the speaker, makes me wanna have a boyfriend hauhaa... Doh, I sound so pathetic right now. I am gaining weight due to excessive eating. My face is super chubby, and my stomach... err dont even get me started. As usual, my new year's resolution is to lose weight. I'm gonna have to starve myself, maybe starting mid January haha...

I was reading this engineering newsletter and was surprised to read news about the former dean of college of engineering, denice denton. Apparently she committed suicide... She was no longer at UW, she was working at a CA university. This is the link.

Scrambling around

It's been a while since I updated this blog. It's been crazy lately. Bought new car, had final exams, moved to a new apartment. Parents are coming in less than 12 hours. My apartment is still a mess, due to the 36 hours of power outage. I used flashlight to clean up my closet. You guys know my cubicle container/dresser right, I dont know what to call it. I spent the whole hour in the dark, trying to assemble that, I hate that thing so much hahaha... I gave up after that and just went to bed. The wind was blowing hard, there's a fallen tree near my gym, I should have taken pictures... it was still there last night haha... maybe I'll take some this afternoon if they haven't done anything to it yet. You know what I'm craving right now... yes, alcohol... hahahaha I could use some shots or maybe just a glass of wine, or a bottle of beer. Uuu I miss drinking beer, cold beer to be exact. Mmm...

I went to dictionary.com just now to check on some words and guess what, if you scroll down to the last section, they have word translation to other language. Indonesian was one of them. I think it's pretty neat hehe... go check it out, type some word and scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the indonesian word for that.

I am so happy right now! Seahawks just made my day. Alexander was awesome: 200 rushing yards, and Matt... what can I say, he is Matt! They are back for sure. It's so good to see them play together again. I missed them a lottttt... Let's go Seahawks!!!

I'm sure all of you who watch grey's anatomy knows the song "The Mating Game". It's the song that Kelly dance to in her basement room when the chief walks in. It's used for commercial and yesterday I heard it in a retail store when I was trying on clothes. So I listened to their album. I like the vocalist's voice. The band is called Bitter:sweet.

Seahawks

My home street address back in Jakarta is called Elang Laut street and if you translate that to English, it means SEAHAWKS!!!!! My brother just mentioned this to me a few days ago and I have never ever realized this. Living more than 5 years in Seattle and I've never thought about it. I am a fan of seattle seahawks now and it is so weirddddd... I guess I have always been a fan of the seahawks, well maybe my parents too because they were the one who bought the house haha...

Fat or Muscle

It's been a while since I visited my beloved mieko. I went there a couple of days ago. Headed to the scale after I was done working out. I lost 2 lb wohooo... I was happy that day but now I cant help but thinking, did I lose fat or muscle? Muscle is heavier than fat and I haven't been working out for a couple of months which means I could be losing muscle instead of fat, huaaaaa thus I'm not that estatic anymore.

I will start working out again (crossing my finger) to channel my anger which was caused by a certain individual. Hehe actually it's not an anger but I think it could be a good motivation for me. I planned to see a trainer this Friday morning but I forgot I have to work from 8 to 12 so I'm gonna have to postponed it. I want to have a body like samantha harris, the dancing with the stars host and E! news correspondent. I like her arms...
