Creative Japanese

Japanese people are smart and they are really creative too. I've always enjoyed their reality TV show, you know takeshi castle, tv champion, and the eating contest. The first clip that I'm gonna show you is a japanese toilet prank. It's pretty funny, you should watch it till the end because they do different stuff with the toilet, similar but different...



The second video is super duper funny, I laughed until I cried. The students can not laugh while watching the video of a japanese guy speaking english or else they will get spanked!!! This guy Kenzo, got spanked at least 5 times

Spotlights

Seattlelites/Washingtonians have been on the reality TV spotlights lately. Bevin, one of the top 2 girls on The Bachelor is from washington state (seattle maybe?). Apolo Anton Ohno, who is also from Seattle, just won Dancing with the stars!!! I am sooooooo excited for Apolo. Then, Blake Lewis who is from Bothell is the finalist on American Idol. Both finalists, Blake and Jordin auditioned in Seattle. There is always a finale theme song every season and this season, the producer asked the viewers to write that song. And yeap, the songwriter winner is from Seattle. Niceeee....

Blame it on PMS

I have an exam tomorrow and I have not been studying when I'm supposed to. Well, I guess I dont have to study hauhauha... who cares about the grades right? I do actually .... :( I started reading the textbook right after I got back from school but I could hardly stay awake. So I turned on the TV, drank a cup of coffee, and after that, I got a headache!!! I can not concentrate at all now... I just wanna cry huaaaaaa, it's been a while since the last time I cried. And I blame it all on PMS, of course.... I know what I need now, I need to listen to some music and start singing so I can feel better. I wanna go dancing ... and this time I do not want to get wasted again.

Side job: Travel planner

How I hate planning for vacation, especially since I'm going to 3 different islands in hawaii. Which takes me back to 2005 when I planned a vacation trip to chicago, boston, san francisco and las vegas. It's so tiring to find the cheapest hotel with a good location, comparing which site should i buy it from. I know there's kayak.com but still, not all of the hotels are listed there. I still need to schedule the places that we need to visit, rent a car, reserve a trip since some of them are so popular that you need to book them at least a month before. It's easy to book them, the problem is to find the one that provides good economical value hahaha...

Spamalot

Monthy Python's Spamalot is coming to Seattle!!!! I am super excited but the problem is, it starts on October 10. I don't know if I will still be in Seattle at that time. Well, I guess I have to now hahaha... I've been wanting to see this show since it first came out, just like Wicked. Finally I saw Wicked last october and hopefully I will be able to see Spamalot this October hehe... By the way, there's a lot of artists performing this May, joss stone, john legend, my chemical romance, rent, etc...

Today is Thursday and usually it's my beer day hahahahahah.... but I had a slush ice on Ambrosia today. Man, I'm addicted to that, it's so goooodddd... Super fatty though :( Haiyaaa... jessbong introduced me to that slush ice and I'm hooked!!! So beer or no beer today?

Caffeinated

I am not sleepy at all.... I drank tea after dinner. Must not do that again!!! It's past midnight and i want to sleep but my eyes are wideeee open. I had cookies with my tea. It's almond thin and it's so good. I ate 10 of them and just blew up my diet. Im hungry again now hahaa... So bad.

I talked to my mom earlier today. She told me that one of my cousins is pregnant. It's a great news but not really because she has lupus. She had miscarriage a couple of years ago. It's very dangerous for her to be pregnant, it can be deadly. I told my mom that I couldnt believe that they tried that hard to have a baby, knowing that it can be deadly for her and the baby. I mean, she can lose her life. My mom said that her husband really wants to have a baby. Then somehow we went on talking about me and my kidney problem. She told me that it's better for me not to have kids. I told her that I really really want to have kids someday. I know that all of the doctors have told me that it's pretty risky for me to get pregnant but by the time I'm ready, you know, technology will be much advanced. I couldnt understand why my cousin is risking her life to have a baby and there I was, trying to convince my mom that it will be fine for me to have kids. I guess I can somehow understand my cousin's feelings now. I know that you can adopt but it's different. It's still a long way to go for me and I shouldn't be worrying about this but maybe I can do something now that will affect how it is will be in the future, such as living a healthier lifestyle. Urrghhh it's hard, especially the alcohol.... haha... Yes girls, I'm sure you all know, how much I adore those beers and shots hahahaha.... Wow, I didnt plan to blabber all this depressing stuff, must be the caffeine.

Mysterious

I had a dream last night. It was a really short dream but left a lasting impression. It started with me going for a job interview for an IE position. I guess I miss doing IE stuff so I dream about it ehehe. So the interviewer showed me around the factory and introduced me to some of the people there. One of them is him. He was standing on the side, smiling. I'm pretty sure he's an engineer as well, he's indonesian too. We talked (in indonesian) for a bit and I felt this strange feeling. A connection... But then I woke up, I was shocked probably... because he kissed me aahaha... It's weird... well it's a dream. Still though... who could that be. I wonder if I could ever meet him.

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning and the rain is not falling. Lately, the weather is always nice on Sundays, which sucks for me because I have a homework and quiz due at 9pm. I always start doing them after church... yessss call me a slacker! I can't help it haha... I dont like online classes. I always wake up pretty early on Sunday eventhough I slept at 4 am. Well, apparently my apartment walls are pretty thin. I could hear my neighbors talking or maybe it's the TV, I'm not sure. Anyway... I woke up this morning and my feet hurts, it's swollen a bit. Hahhaha which took me back to last night. Citra, hakim, and fani were sitting upstairs, I was at the bar but then Caroline went upstairs, so I followed her. Chit chat for a bit then I went back to the bar quickly because some of our friends are waiting there. Soooo when I was running down the stairs, I missed the last step!!!!! Oh my goshhh.... Luckily I fell on my knee instead on my face!!! When I got up, I saw these faces were looking at me. They're laughing and probably thought I was drunk hahaha... I grab one of their hands and just laughing with them *didnt know how to react exactly*. None of my friends saw this by the way.

Change to another topic. I am determined to lose weight and tone my body. I am going to use this blog as my food diary and hopefully it will help me realizing how much junk I eat. I know I mention this losing weight thing a lot but this time I will make sure that I am going to suffer!!! I have 2 months until my trip to hawaii. I wanna look good :( so friends... help mee yaaa hahaha

Pop Corn

I just gotta post this right away. Ok, I just got done with my exam. I was not concentrated at all!!! My stomach is growling the entire period of the exam. It's like a pop corn machine!!!!! It keeps making sound and won't stop huaaaaaaaaa. I was sooooo embarrassed. I was not hungry, I just ate. I did not know where the air was coming from.... hix... malu abis. You know when you're stomach is growling and then you try to stop it, so you tightened it but then when I do it, I just made it worst. There's this one time when the sound is enormously loud and long!!!!! Oh my gosh... shame shame

Here I am, cleaning up my room on Friday night. It is so messy I can't stand it. So I was tidying my jewelry box when I realized that I lost a necklace that Hendy gave to me. It's from Tiffany's!!!! Huaaaaaa... I dont know if i misplaced it or what, but it is not in its jewelry bag. I couldnt even remember the last time I wore it. I'm sure I wore it in the club. Oh my my... I am so sad... Hopefully I can find it somewhere... Please please please.

I was doing my homework and chatting at the same time. I multitask quite well. In the middle of the conversation with my friend, he said that he wished he could be the indo guy who sips wine. I told him, what are you talking about? He gave me this link to this LA times article.

My friend, Erwin, googled his name just for fun. Then he found this one blog that only has one topic which is about professionalism and that author is commenting on erwin's work relating to his photography business. Let me give you the link to erwin's blog, there's a link to that shitty RIOP blog. Erwin's blog. Read the comments on RIOP blog from Erwin's supporters hehe... I was thinking of ordering some t-shirts that says "TEAM EW" hahaa.... Erwin found out who that guy is, he's indonesian.... of course... that doesnt surprise me for some reason. What can narrow minded indonesians do? They can only bash other people's work to make themselves feel better. That guy used to live in Seattle, he lives in Vancouver now. He's a friend of my friends actually... He has a history of bashing other people's work including my other friend who is the founder of kaskus.com. Geez man, get a life. He even commented that Erwin's pic is not great. Hellooooo.... his pictures are ugly as shit. Damn, he makes me angry.

"First" heard his song on vh1, he's the featured artist for this month. I like it, R&B, soulful... So I read his bio. He's Alan Thicke's son, Alan thicke was in growing pains, he's the dad. I can see the similarities of the looks. I was more surprised when I found out he had an album before the current one and he used his last name as his artist name. I remembered Thicke!!! I went to amazon.com to check the song listing on his album and yesss it's the same Thicke that I loveeee.... I loveeeeeee his song, "when i get you alone". I thought Thicke was a band hahaha...

Unwell

My body is so weak, I can feel it. It started a week ago when I had a lot of ulcers/sariawan in my mouth. When it was getting better, a cold hit me. I'm coughing a lot and it hurts :( The last time I got a cold was in november which was 2 months ago. I've never ever been sick this often. Gotta love my body more, considering that I have one weak kidney. Gotta eat regularly, take vitamins, exercise, and drink water!

There's a new asian market opening in the oaktree area. It's called HT market. I went there last friday and it's not too bad. They have peavine! Pretty expensive, 99c for a small bag, but i dont care, I love peavine. I can eat it everyday. The market is not as complete as uwajimaya, they dont have shabu2 sauce. About the price, maybe they are cheaper than uwajimaya but probably around the same range. Uuhh I'm so hungry right now... Waiting for baby gap to pick me up... I've been craving for fort st. george for a while. Last time I went there was in the summer when adam was here. Wow, it was six months ago... I used to go there once a week with Hendy... No wonder I'm dying to go there.

MCR

I heard black parade by my chemical romance on the radio. I love the song, the beginning is pretty slow then it becomes upbeat. So I got their album and wow... it's amazing. My other favorite song is famous last words and I am so excited that it's their new single which means I'll be hearing that song a lot in the radio. Unfortunately I work in a place where they tune on 106.9 fm. They have good songs but i've been hearing the same songs over and over again. They dont really play the top 40 songs. Probably I can sing to some of the country songs that they play. Sometimes I just wanna scream if they play the song that I dont like and I've been hearing that song almost everyday, let's see, for the past 5 months. Thinking about it makes my head hurt, or maybe it's a signal for me to go to bed since it's currently 1:30 am and I am supposed to be in bed and snore like a pig. Hmm do pig snore? Or snoring sounds like how pig sounds? Anyway... hahahha... I think I really need to pay a visit to my lovely bed. Gosh I just realized, I just wasted 3 nights, I havent started my homework and I have a takehome exam. Huaaa this weekend is going to be super crazeeee

One other thing, I heard this song on the radio and didnt know who the singer is. So I forgot about it but then a week later, I heard it on the xm radio. I was so excited because now I know who the singer is since xm listed it. When I got home, I tried looking for the song and the singer but no luck so I forgot about it again. 1.5 months later, which is today, when I was hearing xm radio again in my car, I suddenly remember about this song and the singer but I couldnt recall the name of the singer. So I thought, oh well, hopefully I'll remember it someday because I really like the song. Guess what, I was browsing the tonight show website because I wanted to know who was performing on that show. On nbc schedule, they also show the guests for carson daly show and conan o brien. The singer that I've been looking for is performing on those 2 shows!!!! His name is Landon Pigg, I recognized it right away because his name is so unique ahhaa... So happy!!! Btw the name of the band that performed on Jay leno's was The bird and the bees.

Olympic Sculpture Park

I have found another reason to stay in Seattle... It's the olympic sculpture park hahaha... It is so beautiful. The park is not completely done yet but it is so gorgeous. I will post some pictures on my photo blog, meanwhile, check my friend's blog (click me) for the pictures. I went there on Saturday, the first day they opened for public. It was crowded and parking was a pain. We had to park in belltown area and walked for about 10 minutes to the park, while carrying our photography equipment. It was worth it though. I just love parks... I used to go to a park every single day (when I was unemployed and not taking classes). I am committed to manage my time better so I can go to olympic sculpture park every other week or even once a week. You guys should go to the park and experience it yourself. I only have 9 months left in Seattle, at most... I am going to make the most out of it. My goodness, I sounded like a dying people ahha... Huaaa I love Seattle too much... why wasnt the park built sooner ckckck...

Anyway, I'm supposed to be studying right now. I'm taking 3 accounting classes and getting sick of this subject hahahaha. Remind me again why I'm back in school? Oh yeah, because I dont want to leave this damn city!

Really?

There's a new indo kid working in the bookstore and we were kinda chit chatting with the others also. I told this new kid that I'm kinda old, well older than the other students who are working there in the bookstore. Jason asked him to guess my age. Guess what he said..... 30!!! My goodness... Really??? Do I look that old??? Perhaps he doesnt really know how to estimate age but still do I really look that old... Huaaaa... I always avoided that age question when talking to new people since I dont want to offend them or hurt their feeling heuhe....

Geez... Time flies... I'll be 24 this year... When I was in high school, I wanted to get married when I'm 24 or 25. I am so not ready to get married at this age. Well, you know as a high school student I wasnt really thinking it through. Talking about marriage, I gotta find My McDreamy first.
